Refund Policy

Effective Date: 25-10-2025

1. Introduction
The Lahore Bar Association (LBA) is committed to transparency and fairness in all its financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which the LBA will issue refunds for membership fees and other payments made to the Association. By making a payment to the LBA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy.

2. Membership Fees
Membership Dues:
Membership fees are generally non-refundable. Once paid, the fee is applied to the administrative, operational, and member service costs for the applicable membership year.

Duplicate Payment:
In the case of an accidental duplicate payment, the member must notify the LBA in writing within 3 days of the transaction. Upon verification, a full refund of the duplicate amount will be processed.

Application Rejection:
If a membership application is rejected by the LBA’s governing body, any fees submitted with the application will be refunded in full.

3. Refund Processing
Method: All refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment. For example, payments made by credit/debit card will be refunded to the same card. Bank transfer refunds will be issued to the originating account.

Timeline:
Please allow up to 15-30 business days for the refund to be credited to your account after approval.

4. How to Request a Refund

5. Discretionary Refunds & Force Majeure
